Beauty, Culture and Revitalization

The tiny town of Helper, Utah nestled in a beautiful landscape, was once a rural mining town but has become a hub of art. Artists were invited into the “American Crossroads” exhibit which examines the crossroads of the landscape of the American West in a literal and metaphorical sense.

I was honored to have three paintings in the exhibition and printed catalog. And, as part of the promotion to feature the artists we were each asked to shoot a brief video talking which were then edited, put to music and sent out by Anne Jesperson Fine Arts, the stunning gallery where the exhibit runs from August 7 - October 16, 2020.

In this video, I’m in my studio talking about my work, inspirations and current projects.

In this video I am on location painting two giant murals (around 3,000 sq ft of wall space) and talking about that project.

This exhibit is part of The Helper Project, a non-profit which raises funds for the city of Helper. For more information on the project, you can view their website.
