The cups are part of the dance, lifted for a sip, then set down for a moment as the pair talk, gaze, enjoy, before lifting their cups to savor again.

Cups and their saucers are a seemingly endless and pleasurable inspiration. Their myriad shapes, colors and patterns are joyfully invented in the mind’s eye as a fantasy cup or perhaps a memory of one filtered through my imagination. This is an ongoing series of creative exploration.
