Respite portrays a Black Throated Sparrow in a moment of resting contentedly. Birds, to me, are symbolic of freedom. The air and the wind are free, and I love to see birds soar through that unencumbered space. Small birds seem so delicate and yet are resilient.
Respite captures a moment of quiet peace in nature.
