Animal, Vegetable, and Mineral.

I hope you have had a lovely Summer…and remember it’s not officially over until September 23rd! Aside from the paintings I am working on and some pleasurable design projects, I wanted to share some of the diverse elements of my creative life recently.

ANIMAL

ANIMAL

Here is the front and back of a handbag I painted for the “Friends of Animals” recent fundraiser benefiting cats and dogs.

VEGETABLE

VEGETABLE

I’m honored that Art Access asked to use my “Harvest” art for the cover of their “Art2go” event invitation this year. It is their 3rd Annual Fall Invitational, where you can buy art and take it with you on the spot rather than waiting until the end of the exhibition. I’m happy to have art available at the gallery. The invitation-only preview party will be tomorrow, Thursday, September 17th, then it’s open for everyone on Friday’s gallery stroll the next night and will continue through October 9.

MINERAL

MINERAL

Did you know I make jewelry from ethnic beads, colorful gemstones and Tibetan pendants? Many years ago my hobby turned into a side business. The necklaces, bracelets and earrings I make are available at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts Store at the University of Utah.

. . . . . . . . . . . .

Happiness is freedom to create!
