Life, Love and Leisure

Located at Millcreek Community Center, Salt Lake City

10 x 48 feet
Acrylic

The imagery in the mural is symbolic of intergenerational relationships and evokes the emotions of shared experience by portraying people of different ages and backgrounds together. The art communicates metaphors of life and growth, timeless activities, conveying a unifying sense of community, leisure time, and intergenerational togetherness. I was the selected artist commissioned by the Salt Lake County Public Art Program.

“I couldn’t be more pleased with how Traci encompassed my vision in her art for Millcreek. In fact, the end product was better than my vision. I was looking for intergenerational, diversity and timeless in a story that can be interpreted in many different ways. She’s extremely flexible in adjusting her art to complete a vision of the art’s intent, and I appreciated her communication style in getting her work done.  She’s exceptionally pleasant, and her personality and character add to the beautiful 48’ x 10’ piece she’s painted. She’s added life to the ambiance of our community center.”
