Listening

Vibrant. Calm. In the Moment. 

Listening portrays a Lazuli Bunting in a moment of peaceful silence. Birds, to me, are symbolic of freedom. The air and the wind are free, and I love to see birds soar through that unencumbered space. Small birds seem so delicate and yet are resilient. This print is the color study for the painting of the same title. 

Listening captures the peaceful mood of a vibrant, colorful bird.
