Colorful Connection — Note District

Located at North Temple I-15 Underpass
700-706 W North Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah

Painted steel, stained concrete, and vinyl wrap

This is a public art installation designating The NOTE (North Temple) District as a connection point of two parts of the city. The colorful characters and diverse people are shown joining together in harmony and unity portraying a sense community and connection. The installation includes the colors and circular shapes of the NOTE District branding throughout the project. It is a vibrant and welcoming entrance that enhances the traveler’s experience passing under the I-15 underpass.

The art for this project was made possible through the Salt Lake City Arts Council’s Public Art Program, with support from Salt Lake City’s Redevelopment Agency, Engineering Division, and Department of Housing and Neighborhood Development.
